| Academy Campus Grounds |
| Courtyard
The courtyard, located in the front of the Shinigami Academy building is the place where students frequently relax underneath the blooming Cherry Blossom trees or simply come to chat with friends or classmates. Many of the training grounds can be accessed or seen from the courtyard.

| Yamamoto Wing
Entry level courses are found in the Classrooms labeled with 100, 101, 102, and so forth until 200s. This wing is located in the central hall of the main academy building. Here students will learn basic terminology, history, and contemporary language in the arts of Kido.

| Kuchiki Wing
Advanced level courses are found in the Classrooms labeled with 200, 201, 202, and so forth until 300s. This wing is located in the eastern hall of the main academy building. Here students will learn advanced kido techniques, additional history of Shinigami, and the beginning of basic combat.

| Shihouin Wing
Advanced level courses are found in the Classrooms labeled with 300, 301, 302, and so forth. This wing is located in the western hall of the main academy building. Here students will study the history and nature of Hollows, combating Hollows, and other advanced techniques for survival and combat.

| Hakuda Yard
Hakuda is the art of Hand to Hand combat. While not many train here, those searching to enter the Special Forces train here quite often. This special training area contains a sand laden area as many hand to hand moves can leave an opponent crashing to the ground. One can find this area to the right of the main Shinigami Academy building.

| Kido Range
Located on the left of the Shinigami Academy main building, the Kido Range is a place where students are taken to practice and hone their skills with the art of Kido. Targets are set up along the far end of the yard, each with varying degrees of difficulty.

| Zanjutsu Arena
A series of enclosed buildings where classes may come to practice their swordsmanship skills with their Zanpakuto. A large arena for outdoor training is also located in the center of this cluster of buildings. This area is located directly behind the main Academy building.

| Boy's Dorms (1 sub-board)
The dorm rooms for male 1st-4th year students. Female students are not allowed here after lights out. Penalties will be severe if a proctor catches any female students visiting after hours.

| Girl's Dorms (1 sub-board)
The dorm rooms for 1st-4th year female students. Male students are not allowed here after lights out. Penalties will be severe if a proctor catches any male students visiting after hours.

| Senior Dorms
Senior Dorms are where the 5th and 6th year students live. Unlike 1st-4th year dorms, these dorms are co-ed to encourage team work since graduation and assignment to a Division is just around the corner.

| Common Room
A gathering area that connects both the Girl's and Boy's dorm rooms. Many simply come here to relax, cram for upcoming exams, or simply meet up with new friends and classmates.

| Rukongai |
| Rukongai District Junrinan
A district that is part of the West Rukongai, the Junrinan district is one of the most peaceful and law abiding district. District One is a heavily residential area, with many of the friends and family of those attending the Shinigami Academy residing here.

| Rukongai District Yasuragi (2 sub-boards)
The second District of the Rukongai contains the shopping district along with a host of elegant restaurants. This is a place that many students come to while on leave or on break.

| Rukongai District Hokutan (2 sub-boards)
The third District of the Rukongai is a pleasant vacation spot for souls. The beautiful Mt. Koifushi eclipses the blooming Cherry Blossom trees that litter its grounds. Not only is this a common vacation spot with the hidden hot springs for those who know the locale, but the mountain also serves as a training area for those who wish to train in peace and quiet.
